The World of Grandpa DonIdentify Yourself Always identify yourself in the BODY of an email. Your email address is not enough and in fact may be used by "worms" that generate emails by infecting their computers. An easy way to identify yourself is to create "Signatures". You may have noticed that my mail always includes a "Signature" that is easily identified with me and has my web site URL included. YOU KNOW IT'S FROM ME! However, ... I don't type all that every time I compose an email. I use Microsoft Outlook but I am sure that other Email programs have a "Signature" feature as well. Now you can easily add a unique identification to all your email. Your friends (at least this one) will appreciate it. To carry this a step further see E-Mail Form Letter
