This is a copy of my message:
At a time when the entertainment industry could (and should) be striving to encourage family values and responsible living, the industry, and NBC in particular, are, by their programming, promoting the idea of a world of instant self gratification without regard to the moral and ethical results.
These irresponsible actions degrade the values of those who accept what they see and hear as being the 'normal' way of life.
The industry has an opportunity to upgrade values but they bring us down to selfish seekers of short term pleasure under the guise of happiness. They tell us that there is nothing to life but sex (and the money they make by promoting it) They promote a distorted view of a beautiful creation in order to gain a profit.
I, for one, will mot be participating and will not see the messages of the advertisers who are participating in this attack on human decency. And I ask that the FCC consider these views when dealing with NBC and others of their kind.

troubled by the trend of the entertainment media to disregard high moral

norm. |
