We are blind ...

The following words were, no doubt, inspired by the Bible (Isaiah 35:5). They are what I believe and are a great comfort to me. They speak of our human life and of Heaven. This is why the puzzles of life and religion no longer trouble me.

"... you do not see, nor do you hear, and it is well.
The veil that clouds your eyes shall be lifted by the hands that wove it,
And the clay that fills your ears shall be pierced by those fingers that kneaded it.
And you shall see
And you shall hear.
Yet you shall not deplore having known blindness,
nor regret having been deaf.
For in that day you shall know the hidden purpose in all things,
And you shall bless darkness as you would bless light."

"The Prophet" by
 Kahlil Gibran

"... Yet you shall not deplore having known blindness, nor regret having been deaf. ..."
I find this to be a profound and comforting statement.

.

Eye has not seen,
Ear has not heard
the things which God has
prepared for those who love Him

1 Cor 2:9

My Beliefs

These are presented in no particular order but are listed as they come to mind. They are mine and I do not intend to impose them on anyone else. If you come to accept them, I am happy to share them. These beliefs have been accumulated during my entire life but mostly during the most recent years. They come out of personal experience, and the teaching and influence of others.
