Creation ...
The facts of the story of Creation are unknown to us.
The accounts (there
are two different ones in Genesis) were written down at two different times in
history and reflect the human concept of the world at the time and the state of
the people of God at that time.
The Truth of the stories is that God created the universe and all that is
in it. God, a Spiritual Being, created us as spiritual beings ("in His
likeness") and with human bodies. All that He created was good. He didn't
create us as fellow gods, ... we are not perfect.
I further
believe that creation continues today and as we grow in wisdom, we participate in this
process. God put it all in motion and provided all that is needed. We must use
what He gave us to build His Kingdom. If we believe and live by the Truths
of the Bible, we can work towards this end.
| My Beliefs
These are presented in no
particular order but are listed as they come to mind. They are mine
and I do not intend to impose them on anyone else. If you come to accept
them, I am happy to share them. These beliefs have been accumulated
during my entire life but mostly during the most recent years. They come
out of personal experience, and the teaching and influence of others.
