 Make a Difference

How come we hate each other?
How come there are wars everyday?
How come an innocent person is killed?
Why can’t it go away?
How come a life can be taken so quickly?
Life’s not a game.
But for some reason,
This happens everyday,
When a gun takes its aim.
Why is it that we never
Learn from our mistakes?
Why do we move on
Like nothing happened?
But deep down,
We know it did.
Why can’t we get along?
Why can’t we stand together?
Why don’t we vanish hate,
So it stays away forever?
Why can’t this dream come true?
Why can’t it be real?
It can be real,
And it can come true.
So why doesn’t it start,
Start with you?
So make a difference,
And there will be a result.
And hate will come
To a halt.
