Statement +++
St. Julie Billiart
Parish, energized by the love of the Holy Spirit, is a welcoming Community
of Disciples, called by Baptism:
-To provide for prayer, worship and spiritual formation.
-To provide quality, lifelong religious formation al all levels through
educational programs.
-To provide support and loving assistance in times of need.
-To promote evangelization and Christian fellowship.
- To address all areas of the lives of our teens: spiritual and social
dimensions, community services, and education.
Through this way of life, and in the spirit of Christian stewardship, we
proclaim the Gospel message as reflected in tile theology of Vatican II,
and thus work to build the Kingdom of God on earth.
This Mission
Statement emanates from the mission statements of our four ministry
boards; Liturgy, Education, Human Concerns, Parish Life, and Youth as seen
in the five goals included in it. It proclaims us as disciples of Christ,
steward of God's gifts following the theology of Vatican II.

My Church
This is not so much about St. Julie Billiart parish,
but about the NEW Catholic Church. It may not seem new to my children and
definitely not new to my grandchildren but it is no longer the same church that I
grew up in and did not understand during that time. It is new and dedicated to
Jesus as a result of the Vatican II council of bishops.
