He is Risen!

The Resurrection of Jesus can be looked upon as the Conception of the Church. Easter introduces a new era to the world. For those who accept Christ, it calls for a change in living.

We do not need to give up everything and become a “Mother Teresa”. God just looks for the small changes in us. Just like a pregnancy brings about a gradual change in the lives of both mother and father, the conception of spiritual life starts small.

This Easter we are invited to become better Catholics, better Disciples of Christ. St Julie Parish is here to serve and support its members. But… the parish is its members!

We need to come together at Mass for spiritual nourishment. Frequent reception of the Eucharist is like a vitamin supplement for the soul.

We come together to GIVE support, not only get support. Salvation is not an individual and private effort. We cannot do it alone. God gives us His love unconditionally, and he wants us to share it with others the same way.

Church Bulletin Articles
Sunday Reflections

The members of the Liturgy Planning Ministry, meet before the major church seasons to discuss the "focus" of the season and how the liturgies can be used to bring the parishioners to a better understanding of the season. The members of this ministry include the pastor, liturgy staff members, music staff members, the head of the Art and Environment ministry, and several parishioners who have an interest and training of the subject. I am a member. One of the functions of a few of these members is to write articles for the parish weekly bulletin during these seasons. Articles that I have written are on this page.
